Ischgl is located at an elevation of 1,377 m above sea level in the Paznaun, an Alpine valley in the far west of North Tyrol (Austria). This internationally renowned winter sports resort is situated in a striking geographical location between the Ferwall Group to the north and the Samnaun Group (also known as the Silvretta) to the south. Current road conditions and official information on any avalanche-related closures can be obtained directly from the municipality of Ischgl or the Ischgl Avalanche Warning Service.
